He will report to the local head of fixed income, Frederic Laine, and the London-based global head of debt capital market origination, Jean-Marc Blankert.

Tan moves from HSBC, where he was head of debt finance and advisory. He was also vice-chairman of the Hong Kong Capital Markets Association in 2004 and 2005.
