Stockholmsborsen fills derivatives post internally

Henrik Paulsson has been promoted to the post of president of derivatives markets at Swedish equities and derivatives market-place Stockholmborsen, part of the combined Nordic securities market OMHEX.

Paulsson, who is currently vice-president of sales and business development, will take up his new position in January. He joined the company in 1998 and has since held a number of different posts. The exchange said he gained particular distinction for his work integrating the Baltic and Nordic markets.

“This is a great opportunity and I am very much looking forward to the forthcoming challenges, such as the merger of the Swedish and Finnish derivatives markets,” said Paulsson.

He replaces Simon Nathanson, who worked at the exchange for 16 years in various capacities. He has become the new chief executive at Swedish electronic execution software firm NeoNet. He will not take up his position at the company until March.
