Jefferies hires head of commodity derivatives

JFP, based in New York, is the commodity subsidiary of the Jefferies Group. Mirza joins from Goldman Sachs, where he was previously a vice-president responsible for commodity index derivatives. Jefferies has also expanded its private client offering by recruiting Charles Baber from Bear Stearns as a director of private client services last week.
