Burke to head Prmia in Chicago

The Professional Risk Managers’ International Association (Prmia) has named Daniel Burke as regional director for its Chicago chapter.

Burke replaces Rizwan Kadir, who led the chapter for nearly two years. Kadir will remain a member of the Prmia Chicago steering committee. “We are indebted to Rizwan Kadir for his leadership in bringing Prmia Chicago to its current point of development,” said David Koenig, Prmia’s executive director and chairman.

Burke is a senior analyst for oil, gas and petrochemical company BP. He was previously with UBS Global Asset Management, where he was an associate director and investment analyst focusing on asset allocation, currency and risk management. Prior to UBS he was an officer in the structured credit products group with Bank of America.
