Tullett Prebon poaches ABN Amro team to head electronic arm

London-based interdealer broker Tullett Prebon has named Paul Humphrey as chief executive of electronic broking.

Humphrey joins from ABN Amro, where he was global head of e-business.

In the newly created post, Humphrey will take charge of the broker's electronic arm, including its TradeBlade interdealer platform, which handles government securities, US Treasury bills, notes and bonds, repos, mortgages and currency options.

Also joining from ABN Amro are the other members of his fixed-income, foreign exchange and derivatives e-business team - Kate Cassidy, Tiziana DeMacceis, Simon Morris, Leon Moss and David Perkins. All will be based in London and will continue to report to Humphrey. Ed Martyn will be moving from ABN Amro in November and will work in Singapore.
