Arold joins Calyon Capital Markets in Germany

Ivonne Arold is to take over from Ralf Winkelmann as French bank Calyon's head of capital markets for Germany.

Arold joined Calyon in April to lead its fixed-income sales and covered bond origination team for Germany and Austria. She will remain in Frankfurt and aims to expand Calyon's capital markets business in Germany and Austria.

She will report to Bassem Snaije, Calyon's head of commercial activities for Europe and the Middle East, and to Jean-Louis Manera, Calyon's senior country officer for Germany.

Arold previously spent 10 years with Dresnder Kleinwort Wasserstein, where she worked in fixed-income derivatives and covered bond origination.

A Calyon spokeswoman could not immediately comment on whether Winkelmann was still working for the bank.
