Prediction Dynamics names ex-Goldman's Flood in development role

Prediction Dynamics (PD), the quantitative trading software company, has hired former Goldman Sachs trader Stephen Flood as business development manager.

Flood worked in sales and trading within Goldman's equity derivatives business, following spells at Deutsche Bank and Rabobank.

He will now head PD's worldwide development effort, particularly in marketing the company’s flagship product, Crucible – a platform used to build and maintain a large number of quantitative models.

“We are building a significant customer base, including Deutche Bank Global Markets, which has implemented Crucible as a platform for researching and deploying innovative quantitative trading strategies,” said PD chairman John Carney.

Prediction Dynamics, based in Dublin, Ireland, is a supplier of financial market prediction and risk management software.
