Citigroup hires Browning as head of forex

Citigroup has hired Marcus Browning, formerly head of forex options at Merrill Lynch, as its first global head of forex trading.

Browning will be based in London, reporting to Citigroup's head of foreign exchange Jeff Feig. Before moving to Citigroup he was global head of forex options, head of forex for Europe, the Middle East and Asia, and global co-head of trading at Merrill Lynch in London.

Feig said Browning would be responsible for growing the structured and funded forex options business.
