Deutsche lures two senior equity derivatives staff from SG

Deutsche Bank has hired two senior equity derivatives specialists from French investment bank SG, part of Société Générale.

Kim Gayer joins as head of equity derivatives structured product sales to northern European institutional clients. Gayer held the same position at SG, which he joined in 1994. He will report to Johan Groothaert, Deutsche Bank’s global head of structured equity derivatives.Florian de Haut de Sigy joins Deutsche to specialise in equity derivatives structured product sales for German and Austrian institutional clients. He had a similar role at SG, which he joined in 1997. De Sigy will report to Gayer.Both positions are London based. Gayer starts at Deutsche Bank on July 15. De Sigy is expected to start around the same time but an exact date has yet to be set.
