UBS Warburg hires structured products director in Hong Kong

She is due to start on April 22 and will report to Deborah Ho, Singapore-based managing director, head of fixed income distribution at UBS Warburg.

Hong Kong-based Ma “will be marketing credit and interest rate derivatives for Hong Kong, Taiwan, China,” says Ho, adding that “we will continue to develop our derivatives marketing capabilities in Greater China. I am a firm believer that to be successful, you have to try and get the right people on the bus and keep them there.”

Last summer, UBS Warburg hired Payling Lee to join its fixed income and derivatives sales group in Hong Kong as a director, responsible for derivatives and fixed income business in Taiwan.
