Calyon appoints Lainé head of Asia fixed income

Calyon, the corporate and investment banking arm of Credit Agricole, has promoted Frédéric Lainé to head of fixed-income markets for Asia, excluding Japan.

Lainé has held various senior positions during his career at Calyon, the most recent being head of fixed income, currencies and commodities for Asia ex-Japan. In his new role, Lainé will lead the overall business development and strategy of fixed-income markets activities in Asia, ex-Japan. The bank’s fixed-income markets division comprises six product lines: interest rate derivatives, foreign exchange, commodities, debt and credit markets, structured credit markets and treasury.

He is based in Hong Kong and reports to Guy Laffineur, global head of fixed-income markets, based in London.
