Icap appoints McClumpha as Asia-Pacific deputy head

Interdealer broker Icap has named Don McClumpha deputy chief executive for the Asia-Pacific region, based in Singapore.

He will begin his new role in January 2008 and report to George Macdonald, chief executive for Europe and Asia-Pacific. All broking and support management in the region will report to McClumpha.

Since 2001, McClumpha has worked in Icap’s electronic broking business, covering a number of projects, including straight-through processing initiatives. He has 21 years' experience in interdealer broking - his career began in 1986, working in the UK gilts market with interdealer broker WCLK, now part of Icap.
