RBS shuffles leveraged finance team

The Royal Bank of Scotland has made two personnel changes to its leveraged finance business.

Euan Hamilton, who is global head of leveraged finance and high yield, moves to the US from London to work closely with US leveraged finance head Ron Kantowitz. He will report to Jay Levine, chief executive in North America, and Symon Drake-Brockman, head of debt markets.

John Hourican, who is chief operating officer for global banking and markets, will assist Hamilton as head of leveraged finance and high yield in the European and Asia-Pacific regions. He now reports to both Hamilton and Drake-Brockman.

Drake-Brockman said the reshuffle would enable Hamilton to spend more time and expertise on the US, the bank’s largest leveraged finance market.
