BoA loses French corp sales dealer

Olivier Brouet has left Bank of America (BoA) in London, where he worked in FX sales to French corporates, reports FX Week , Risk ’s sister publication.

A bank official said Brouet has not been replaced, but declined to comment further.

Brouet's departure follows that of three other FX staff from BoA in London earlier in October. Anja Osthoff left for Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein in Singapore to cover Asian banks, central banks and Middle Eastern clients; John Hobin, a real-money sales dealer, has joined Standard Chartered in London and forwards trader Peter McGarry is thought to be heading for Danske Bank.

Brouet joined BoA two years ago from JP Morgan Chase in London, where he was a vice-president in interest rate and FX derivatives sales.
