SG appoints head of debt finance for the Americas

SG corporate and investment banking, a division of French bank Société Générale, has promoted Paolo Taddonio to the head of debt finance for the Americas.

Taddonio - who has worked for the bank since 1988 - will leave SG's London office, where he was co-head of the global foreign exchange and treasury products for New York.

SG said Taddonio would oversee a range of capital market and financing businesses in the region, including loan syndication, securitisation, structured credit and interest rate derivatives.

Taddonio will report to global head of debt finance Marc Breillout.

Pierre Schroeder, who previously held the role, recently left the bank to pursue other interests, according to SG.
