Euronext.Liffe appoints non-executive director

Euronext.Liffe, the derivatives arm of Amsterdam-based pan-European exchange Euronext, has appointed Catherine Meyer to its board as a non-executive director.

Meyer’s appointment marks a return to the derivatives markets. Early in her career she handled commodity accounts at Merrill Lynch, before joining Dean Witter, where she wrote a guide to the London Metal Exchange option market.

Euronext.Liffe is the world’s second biggest derivatives exchange by volume and value of trades conducted.
