ABN Amro head of Asian equity derivatives transfers to London

ABN Amro's Asian head of equity derivatives in Hong Kong, Frank McKirgan, will transfer to London in the third quarter, according to an official at the bank in Hong Kong.

McKirgan will become global head of equity cash trading. He will ensure that the Dutch bank's cash and derivatives operations work closely together, while working to enhance equity cash trading, said the official. McKirgan will jointly report to Gary Wolens, head of global equity derivatives and global cash trading, and regional heads of equities, Giles Fitzpatrick for Europe, and Mario Malt for Asia-Pacific.

McKirgan joined ABN Amro in May 1996, after completing a 10-year stint at Bankers Trust International, where he worked in a number of international equities positions. The official declined to comment on who would replace McKirgan.
