Commerzbank Securities, the investment banking arm of Germany's Commerzbank, has made Henry Flowers a senior structurer at its US structuring desk, part of Commerzbank's derivatives group in New York.

Reporting to Ted Madara, head of the US derivatives structuring desk, Flowers assumes responsibility for structuring products across all asset classes, including interest rates, credit, equity, foreign exchange and alternative investments.

Flowers joins Commerzbank from SG Cowen, an investment banking unit of France's SG, in New York, where he worked as a financial engineer. Prior to that he was at CIBC World Markets as a vice-president in its equity derivatives division.
