Creditex co-founder McEvoy leaves company

John McEvoy, co-founder and co-chief executive of credit default swap and structured credit broker Creditex, based in New York, has left the firm "to pursue other personal and professional opportunities".

No further word was immediately available as to why McEvoy left or what he would be doing now.

“We wish John well in his new endeavors,” said Sunil Hirani, co-founder and chief executive of creditex.

McEvoy will continue in his role as a member of Creditex’s board of directors, according to a statement released by the company.
