Kratz to run Permal funds in Asia

Kratz joins from ABN Amro in Hong Kong, where he was head of institutional sales for Asia; he was previously chief executive of ABN Amro Asset Management in Singapore.

He will remain in Hong Kong and take over responsibility for the firm's activities in the Asia-Pacific region.
