RBS nabs securitisation head from Merrill Lynch

Vincent Dahinden, former head of corporate securitisation and collateralised debt obligations (CDOs) at Merrill Lynch in London, has joined Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS).

At RBS, Dahinden will take the role of head of structured credit products, reporting to Symon Drake-Brockman, head of capital markets, said an RBS spokesman.

Dahinden’s CDO and corporate securitisation duties at Merrill have been taken up by Tim Loughlin, in addition to his role as head of asset finance. Prior to working in securitisation, Dahinden was head of Merrill’s corporate risk advisory. Dahinden is slated to start at RBS in mid-March.
