Calyon appoints new head of structured finance

Jean-François Marchal has been made head of the structured finance division at Calyon, and a member of the investment bank’s executive and management committees.

Based in Paris, he reports directly to Alain Massiera, deputy chief executive officer of Calyon. He replaces Marc Tabouis, who retired at the end of 2007.

Marchal has spent most of his career in the Crédit Agricole group, the parent company of Calyon, according to the bank. In 2003 he was appointed head of Calyon’s export, trade and commodity finance department, and he became head of the project finance department in 2007.
