Bank of America hires seven for London sales team

Seven new senior salesmen have joined Bank of America's London-based global markets sales team from other major banks, making the team, led by Brian Heyworth, a third larger than at the start of the year.

Three have joined Patrick Baune's European global foreign exchange (GFX) sales team. Rodolphe Alexis, formerly of Goldman Sachs, has been named as head of European non-reciprocal bank GFX sales; Claude Goulet, from Merrill Lynch, has joined as a European GFX sales principal, reporting to Alexis and co-head of European corporate forex sales, Kai Fisher; and Denis Sedes has joined as a principal in GFX risk management advisory, also from Merrill Lynch.

Of the other four new hires, Mark Rossi, formerly at Goldman Sachs, has joined as a principal in GFX institutional sales; Michael Backwell has joined as a principal in credit and structured sales for the UK and Ireland, after nine years as a senior credit salesman for Deutsche Bank; Eusebio Moral, formerly at JP Morgan, has joined as a principal in credit and rates structured sales for southern Europe; and Christian Neske, also from JP Morgan, will fill the same role for northern Europe.
