RBS adds Nordea trio in financing and risk solutions

Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has added three staff from Stockholm-based Nordea to its financing and risk solutions team.

Henrik Østergaard has been appointed to the new role of head of European pensions and insurance solutions, reporting to Andrew Walker, head of financing and risk solutions in the bank’s corporate finance section. Østergaard, who was previously Nordea’s head of institutional solutions, will be based in London.

Also moving with him are Peter Hermann and Sviatoslav Korepov. Hermann was previously head of institutional solutions derivatives at Nordea, structuring derivatives and hedges for Nordic pension and insurance companies. In his new role, he will also be based in London.

Korepov, meanwhile, was formerly chief analyst in Nordea’s institutional solutions team. He will be based in RBS’ Stockholm office. Both Korepov and Hermann will report to Østergaard, and all three assume their new posts from September.
