Deutsche Bank hires across asset classes

Deutsche Bank has made a number of appointments in commodities, equity derivatives, loan exposure management and its special situations group.

The German bank has hired Mark Ritter from UBS as its new global head of commodities. Ritter was formerly global head of credit risk exposure at the Swiss bank, and a winner of Risk magazine's risk manager of the year award in January 2003. He now reports to Jim Turley, Deutsche Bank's global head of currencies and commodities.
