Or so argued a lawyer for Cantor Fitzgerald’s former global head of interest rate derivatives, Steven Horkulak, in a London court in June when he successfully sued the broker for constructive dismissal – a UK legal euphemism for forcing someone to resign from his job.
Press coverage of the case invariably focused on, in Horkulak’s words, the “culture of bullying and abuse” at the firm, presenting a caricature of its management
