European Parliament wants to amend Emir 3.0 draft to put extra obligations on clearing houses
Clearing members are hoping amendments agreed by the European Parliament will find their way into the final text of new rules in the European Union, in order to place more obligation on central counterparties (CCPs) to explain the margin they charge.
The proposal, contained in the European Parliament’s negotiating position for the draft third European Market Infrastructure Regulation (Emir 3.0)
