JPM records highest number of profit-making days in six years
In aggregate, US G-Sibs racked up 355 profit-making days over Q1
JP Morgan recorded the highest number of profit-making trading days across the eight systemic US banks in the first quarter of the year.
The New York-based bank reported 54 trading days on which a profit was made, up from 40 the previous quarter. It was the bank’s highest level in at least six years, when public disclosure began. The bank made losses on just nine trading days in the three months
