Ninth European Performance Awards 2009
The ninth annual Hedge Funds Review European Performance Awards winners were announced at a gala black-tie dinner at the Royal Horticultural Halls, London on May 6.
Although the past 18 months have been difficult for the hedge fund industry in general, the awards were able to recognise many outstanding performers. The high quality of the past was maintained and many new groups appeared on the shortlists.
Some of the categories had no shortlist. In these cases the judges believed the winner was so far ahead of its peers that it could stand alone.
