Bahamas sees growth in innovative 'smart' hedge funds model
Although the Bahamas is not usually considered a domicile of choice for hedge funds, the introduction of an innovative fund structure has led to more interest in the jurisdiction.
The Bahamas claims it offers a greater degree of flexibility and choice in terms of fund structuring than rival offshore jurisdictions like the Cayman Islands or the British Virgin Islands.
