Nomura appoints new equity derivatives co-head
Japanese bank hires Steven Downey as head of equities trading for Europe, the Middle East and Africa and co-head of derivatives
Nomura today announced the appointment of Steven Downey to the new role of head of equities trading for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and co-head of derivatives for EMEA.
Downey will be based in London, and will report to Sam Ruiz, head of equities for EMEA, and Christian Dalban, global head of equities trading. Downey will join Nomura's European equities executive management
