BNP Paribas boosts commodity derivatives team

BNP Paribas has made a number of hires to boost its commodity derivatives team in London and New York. London-based Jose Cogolludo, who joined from JP Morgan last week, is now BNP Paribas’s global head of sales and marketing for commodity derivatives.

Lionel Semonin also joins from JP Morgan, as global head of the commodity derivatives business, based in London. Semonin will be responsible for developing derivatives products to investors globally. He will report to both Jose Cogolludo and Alexandre Benech, global head of trading.
