JP Morgan announces merger with green ClimateCare

JP Morgan will acquire ClimateCare, a leading market-maker in carbon emissions reductions, in order to invest in large-scale carbon emission reductions projects and to propel the development of a liquid financial market trading in carbon emission reduction credits.

ClimateCare will be assimilated into JP Morgan’s Environmental Markets Group, to originate carbon emission reduction projects on a global scale, as well as trade carbon emission reduction credits generated by projects in both compliance and voluntary markets.
