New law firm set up to focus on structured products

David Doble, former partner at the law firm, Allen & Overy, has set up a law firm to advise institutional investors and other investors on structured products.

The London-based firm, David Doble Solicitors, focuses on providing assistance to buy-side entities on purchasing complex structured products such as collateralised debt obligations (CDOs).

The move comes as no shock to market participants. Structured products are becoming an increasingly important part of many law firm's businesses as the market grows.
