Pimco adds heavyweights to strengthen bond platform
February 23—Fixed-income fund manager Pimco has made a string of global appointments and promotions to help the firm in its stated goal to become “the authority on bonds”.
Richard Clarida, former assistant US Treasury secretary in the Bush administration from 2001–2003 and chair of the Columbia University economics department, joins Pimco as executive vice-president and global strategic advisor
