Ziff transfers to Mercer Oliver Wyman from Nera

Ziff moves to MOW from National Economic Research Associates (Nera) Economic Consulting - another Marsh & McLennan company. He was a New York-based vice-president within Nera’s global securities group.

John Drzik, president of MOW, highlighted Ziff’s recent operational risk benchmarking research as uncovering “the emerging best practices among global financial institutions”, and added that the Basel II Accord is “increasing the focus on operational risk” in financial services.

Ziff will continue to work with his financial institution clients, advising them on enhancing their risk management and strategic initiatives with hedge funds, according to MOW.
