Cantor hires Irvin Goldman from CSFB

Broker Cantor Fitzgerald has hired Irvin Goldman, former head of fixed-income sales and trading at Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB), as president of its debt capital markets and asset management division.

Irvin spent 13 years at CSFB where, according to Cantor, he helped build and integrate businesses across a range of specialised products, including structured trading, interest rate swaps, options and mortgage-backed securities.

In his new role he will assume responsibility for building an asset management business within Cantor Fitzgerald that will provide money managers with capital raising, prime brokerage, clearing and execution.

“He brings to Cantor an extraordinary level of expertise and product knowledge as well as a reputation for superior client service,” Cantor Fitzgerald said.
