Second attempt at Allianz Re
Munich-based insurer Allianz has reappointed Clemens von Weichs to head its reinsurance arm from the start of April. It is the second time von Weichs has taken the helm at Allianz Re, following his first stint in charge between 1994 and 2001. He will replace acting chief executive Jay Ralph, who will in future focus on his role as chairmain of Allianz Life of North
