Jefferies (New York) - Jefferies has become an instant player in the derivatives and structured products business with the recruitment of Jason Griffith as its co-head of equity products, partnering Ross Stevens to lead the firm's planned expansion in electronic trading services and equity financial products, including derivatives.

Prior to joining Jefferies, Griffith ran Societe Generale's US structured product sales after the French bank purchased Bank of America's Structured Investments
