Mallesons Stephen Jaques has appointed China M&A and corporate lawyer Stuart Valentine as a partner in its China practice with effect from March 1. Valentine joins from the Hong Kong office of Clifford Chance, where he has been since 1988. His practice there included advising clients in the corporate and finance sectors on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, technology transfer
