Former Barings Executive Gets Four-Year Accountancy Ban
LONDON -- Echoes of perhaps the most spectacular operational risk disaster of the 1990s were heard again in January, when Andrew Tuckey, former deputy chairman of failed UK investment bank Barings, was banned from working as an accountant for four years.
Tuckey's membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, the professional body that licenses accountants, was revoked
