Bear Stearns adds to credit derivatives team in Tokyo

Bear Stearns has hired Edouard Hervey, previously a credit default swaps trader at BNP Paribas in Hong Kong, as managing director in Tokyo.

Hervey will report to Raymond Wong, Bear Stearns' head of fixed-income trading for Asia and Japan in Tokyo.

He will trade Asia ex-Japan credit default swaps, said Lenny Feder, the US investment bank's senior managing director and head of fixed income in Japan.
