RBS appoints emerging market rate head

The Royal Bank of Scotland has appointed Stephen Laughton to the new position of head of global emerging-market interest rate options and exotics.

Laughton was previously global head of rate options and exotics trading at ABN Amro. In his new role, he will cover both trading and structuring. He will be based in London and will report to Peter Rading, head of global currency options and emerging markets.
