Former head of currency forwards returns to Bank One

Bank One’s former head of currency forwards, Paul Smith, will rejoin the company in London tomorrow (November 11) as a senior euro forwards trader, a senior official told RiskNews’ sister publication FX Week .

He will join Chris Elliott and Martin Dowding on the desk and reports to Stewart Morton, head of foreign exchange and interest rate derivatives trading.

Since leaving Bank One in May 2002, smith has been working at Den Danske Bank in London. The bank said last week that it has yet to decide whether it will fill the vacancy that Smith leaves.
