AFS Group to establish London office

AFS Group is predominately active in the Dutch market and employs around 70 people. The London office will be run by managing director Steven LeBoyer, who expects to employ about eight brokers, increasing to 12 within the year.

LeBoyer said the expansion into London is part of a strategy to increase AFS’ client base. A former head of the Dutch market at London-based boutique Sunrise Asset Company, LeBoyer also worked at brokerage house Icap, where he traded German and Italian interest rate options.

AFS says that it may consider establishing offices in Paris and New York if the London operation proves successful.
