AXA IM names new fixed-income head

Zemek replaces Paul Griffiths, AXA IM's chief executive and head of fixed income, who left in February this year to become head of fixed income at Credit Suisse. She will report to the new chief executive, Dominique Carrel-Billiard, when she starts work in March 2008.

At present, Zemek is at New Star, where she is head of fixed income and manager of the managed distribution and fixed interest funds. She will remain in London.
