New Islamic head at Deutsche
Deutsche Bank's head of Islamic finance and head of structuring for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), Geert Bossuyt, has left the bank, along with Ricardo Honegger, head of global markets, MENA.
Deutsche Bank's head of Islamic structuring, Hussein Hassan, will now take up the positions of head of Islamic finance and head of structuring, MENA. Salman Al-Khalifa has been named head of global markets, MENA. He was previously head of global markets sales for MENA at the bank. These appointments are both effective immediately.
Hassan will report regionally to Al-Khalifa and also to Daniel Morley, head of emerging markets structuring in London. Meanwhile, Al-Khalifa reports to Yassine Bouhara, global head of structuring and head of global markets for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
