SocGen reorganises capital raising and financing

The division includes equity and capital market activities, hedging, syndication, structured finance, and mergers and acquisitions. It will be based in Paris and headed by Olivier Khayat and Jean-Luc Parer. Khayat was previously global head of debt capital markets, and Parer was deputy global head of debt finance.

Within the division, the capital-raising operation will be run by Michel Cohen (head of equity capital markets), Jean-François Mazaud (debt capital markets), Jean-Marc Giraud (strategic and acquisition finance), and René De Laigue and Patrick Menard (leveraged and media telecom finance). Hedging will be run by Ines de Dinechin, the global head of interest rates and foreign exchange derivatives.

Frederic Genet (export finance), Bertrand Descours (real estate), Matthew Vickerstaff (infrastructure and asset-based finance), and Denis Childs and Pierre Palmieri (natural resources and energy) will head the structured finance operation.

Ian Fisher will head syndication, and the various market segments will be headed by Antoine Bostsarron (financial institutions), Jean-Claude Petard (sovereign and public sector), Giraud (corporate investment grade, as well as his role as head of strategic and acquisition finance) and De Laigue (non-investment grade, and also co-head of leveraged and media telecom finance).
