BDC bank borrowing capacity rebounds after multi-year slide

The 20 largest BDCs added $11 billion in bank commitments in Q1, despite recent scrutiny

Banks expanded their lending commitments to business development companies (BDCs) in the first quarter, reversing a multi-year slide despite increased pressure on the sector, according to a Risk.net analysis of filings from some of the largest players in the private credit market.
