HKEX looks to launch central repo clearing in Hong Kong

Hong Kong clearing house says a clearing service will aid development of local repo market

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing is looking to introduce a repo clearing service, as the clearing house explores ways to support local regulators’ efforts to develop the city’s fixed income and currency markets.
